The Patricia A. Joyce Comprehensive Cancer Institute (CCI), located at Franciscan Health Olympia Fields, brings together cancer specialists and a full array of cancer-eradicating technologies in one location to help patients with their fight against cancer.
Each oncologist and surgeon at Specialty Physicians of Illinois, LLC is dedicated to giving every patient the best chance possible in the battle against cancer. From diagnosis to remission, our cancer care is provided in a comfortable environment with compassionate staff. During each phase of treatment, patients are fully informed about what the treatment entails and the potential outcome. Our cancer center includes oncology inpatient care, radiation therapy, and clinical research trials. Once diagnosed, we’ll suggest the best course of treatment for each cancer diagnosis and adjust that treatment along the way as necessary. Cancer patients can also take advantage of our support groups and educational programs to get the needed emotional support.

In 2009, Franciscan Health Comprehensive Cancer Institute was approved as a Teaching Hospital Cancer Program by the American College of Surgeons. Approval as a teaching hospital cancer center program is only given to facilities that are associated witha medical school and offer te full range of diagnostic and treatment services. This designation allows us to create a team environment with a strong emphasis on collaboration and critical thinking. This means that you can be assured of the most advanced care possible.
